Rachel Maloney was born and bread right here in Minnesota. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and received a degree in Genetics. For a number of years Rachel worked in the medical device industry in Chicago, Boulder and most recently right back here in Minneapolis. Although she loved working in science, she always wanted to start her own business. One day while driving home in traffic on the Crosstown, Rachel had the vision to start a green building supply company in the Twin Cities. It was a brilliant idea as it combined her passion for the environment with her drive to start a business. Natural Built Home was born that day in 2005. Later that year the website was launched and on Earth Day 2006, the Twin Cities only one-stop-shop for eco-friendly building materials opened. Thousands of non-toxic gallons of paint later, Rachel is loving every minute of it. She is very excited to be co-hosting Everything Green with Ryan so she can share her eco-knowledge with the rest of the world! When not running the store or talking on the radio, Rachel loves to run, bike and hike outdoors and travel around this beautiful planet of ours with her wonderful husband, Tim.
AM 950, KTNF (THE VOICE OF MINNESOTA): Radio station AM950 KNTF, “The Voice of Minnesota” reflects the values and concerns of our Midwestern community.
In 2003, former Minnesota Congressman Bill Luther and Janet Robert became concerned that Minnesotans did not have a radio station where talk show hosts would be dedicated to telling the truth while engaging listeners. They built a station committed to those values and a place where listeners can talk back and engage in a truthful and respectful community conversation about issues.
